Examinations Team (Assessment for Learning) |
It is believed that ‘Assessment for Learning’ is a crucial element of education. We have been committed to making use of diversified assessments strategies to provide feedback on students’ learning outcomes and improve their academic performance. Assessments serve multiple effects on students, namely, helping students understand learning objectives and progress, identifying their strengths and weaknesses in learning, and guiding them to make gradual improvements and adjustments for future learning stages. The aims for our students are to empower them to become independent learners ultimately by understanding their own learning needs and refining their learning strategies through assessments. Effective assessments also enable parents to understand their child’s learning abilities, set reasonable expectations for their child and collaborate with the School to enhance their child’s learning. School teachers provide prompt and tailored feedback based on students’ abilities to improve their learning effectiveness. School teachers also refine the curriculum and teaching and learning approaches together with diversified assessments in order to meet diverse students’ learning needs and finally elevate teaching and learning outcomes. |
