Hom Economics : participate in the 12th ‘Dad, Mum, Dinner's Ready! competitiion

14 students formed a team to participate in the 12th ‘Dad, Mum, Dinner's Ready!’competition at the Towngas Culinary Centre in Causeway Bay on 26 Oct. They first prepared the dish ‘Yam and Water Chestnut Phoenix Balls with Goji Berry Fried Rice’, designed by the Chinese Cuisine Institute's teachers and students, for their parents. After sharing the lunch with their parents and teachers, they delivered lunch boxes to Ho Man Tin Elderly Home to visit the residents. In addition to receiving an Excellence Award in the competition, our school joined forces with the other 13 participating schools to set the ‘World Record for Young People Delivering Homemade Love Meals Over 10,000 Miles’.
