Bethel Cup Yuen Long District Primary School Mathematics Multi-Challenge & Football Competition for Primary Schools cum School Information Day
On 16 November 2024, our school’s Mathematics, Physical Education and various subject departments held the Bethel Cup Yuen Long District Primary School Mathematics Multi-Challenge and Football Competition for Primary Schools cum School Information Day.
On that day, there are a total of 30 primary schools participated in the mathematics competition . Football teams of students from 6 primary schools also took part in the football match.
At the same times, we also prepared various STEAM learning activities or workshops for primary students. Workshops and booths from different departments such as the Integrated Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Visual Arts, Design and Technology, Computer Studies and Maker Education, as well as Organic Farming, Archery, Balloon Twisting and Light Clay Workshops arranged by the Extracurricular Activities Department (ECA). About 300 primary school students participated in the activities on that day No matter win or lose, they all experienced a joyful and satisfactory day.
Through the process of the preparation and implementation of the events, our students can also gained experience in service learning and different skills that cannot be learned in textbooks.
