Parent-Teacher Association-: Parent-Child Tour 2025 - Lamma Island Fisherman Culture and Village Eco-Tour
On 24th May, 2025 (Saturday), the BHS Parent-Teacher Association held a Lamma Island Fisherman Culture and Village Eco-Tour activity. We arrived at Tsim Sha Tsui in the morning and before boarding the boat to Lamma Island, parents and their children enjoyed the scenery of Victoria Harbour, visited the Cultural Centre and strolled around the pier. Then we went to a seafood restaurant in Lamma Island to taste seafood lunch. After the meal, parents and students freely visited the Sok Kwu Wan Seafood Street, admired traditional buildings and bought local souvenirs. In the afternoon, we went to the Lamma Island Fishermen's Cultural Village where parents and students have experienced the life and daily work of the fishermen, and tried the hookless fishing game. Through the activities, we all learned more about the living culture and traditional fishing work of Hong Kong's floating people. In this trip, there was a total of 47 parents, students and family members as well as 4 teachers participated on that day. Although there were occasional showers on that day, it did not reduce the enthusiasm and joy of parents and students for the event. Everyone was happy and felt satisfied.
