75th School Anniversary Open Day - Booth of Biology Department

On 14, 15 November, 2025, our school held the 75th Anniversary Open Day. The Biology Department organized a workshop of DNA extraction where participants could make use of simple tools to extract deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), the genetic material from the cells of fruits. After completion, students could take the extracted material home as a souvenir. Participants could also try extracting giant chromosomes from bloodworm and observed them under microscopes, gaining a close-up understanding of genetic material.
