Interview with Commercial Radio Hong Kong
On December 6th, Principal Mui, along with teachers from the Maker Education and Integrated Science departments, led two Form 6 students and one Form 1 student to Commercial Radio Hong Kong for an interview on the programme "Kiss Kiss Kids" (兒童適宜). During the interview, the students shared their learning journey regarding the interdisciplinary curriculum combining Maker Education and Science—specifically, the "Black Soldier Fly" Life-wide Learning project.
The core philosophy of this activity was to have senior students guide their junior counterparts, placing a strong emphasis on the transmission of knowledge and school culture. The senior students demonstrated mature scientific problem-solving skills and confidence, serving as role models, while the junior student absorbed this spirit of inquiry. This "big hand holding small hand" mentorship approach ensures that the passion for innovation and interdisciplinary thinking is successfully passed down to the next generation.
