“The READmarkables” Outdoor Reading Challenge Day
On March 5, the Reading Promotion Team led six junior secondary students to Ocean Park to participate in the “The READmarkables” Outdoor Reading Challenge Day organized by the Education Bureau. During the event, students stepped out of the classroom and navigated through seven different exhibition halls, engaging in various challenges that allowed them to experience the diversity and value of life firsthand.
This activity not only deepened their understanding of the ecological environment but also fostered an appreciation for nature and respect for life. Through interaction with the ecosystem, students recognized the importance of environmental protection for social development. Furthermore, this experience helped them master flexible reading strategies, further stimulating their interest and abilities in reading.
