Geography Department - Heyuan (Guangdong) Study Tour

In order to promote students' interest in Geography, our Geography teachers took the S.5 Geography students to Heyuan (Guangdong) to have a study tour from 14-11-2012 to 16-11-2012. Students visited the Tuo Cheng City and Nan Yuan Hakka Village to learn the history of Chinese moving to the South, the Hakka culture and the Hakka culture conservation project. Students also visited the Wanlu Lake and Xinfengjiang Reservoir dam to learn about the work of China in conserving water resources. They also visited the famous Heyuan Dinosaur Museum to know more about the ecosystem during the time of dinosaurs. Students put a great effort and learnt a lot in the trip.
