Course Overview
Visual Arts is one of the subjects in the Arts Education Key Learning Area (KLA). The curriculum of Visual Arts is divided into two parts. The Basic Education Curriculum is a school-based curriculum, which aims to provide a balance learning experience for students. In Visual Arts appreciation and criticism in context, and Visual Arts making, students can construct knowledge, acquisit experience and skills, and develop values and attitudes. The senior secondary Visual Arts curriculum is designed for students who choose Visual Arts as an elective subject, and go through the public assessment process, and prepares them for the promotion to tertiary institutions, their future job training and/or working in related field of Visual Arts.
