BHS Students Mastered Life-Saving Skills at FSDCER Youth CPR & AED Course
Bethel High School is proud to announce that 14 selected students participated in the Fire Services Department Community Emergency Responder (FSDCER) - Youth Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Provider Course, organized by Yuen Long Fire Station and St. John Ambulance. The course took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, and aimed to equip young learners with essential emergency response skills and certify them as Community Emergency Responders.
The course was held at Chiu Lut Sau Memorial Secondary School and ran from 08:30 to 17:30. The activity was offered free of charge, and successful completion of the course and assessment earned students official certification, recognizing their proficiency in CPR and AED operation. Mr. Wu Luning, the teacher-in-charge of the activity, oversaw the students’ participation. “We believe this was an invaluable opportunity for our students to acquire life-saving skills that can make a critical difference in emergency situations,” said Mr. Wu. “By partnering with the Fire Services Department and St. John Ambulance, we were committed to fostering a sense of responsibility and empowering our youth to contribute to community safety.”
