"Health Genius Youth Development Programme"
On Saturday, January 24, 2026, as part of the "Health Genius Youth Development Programme" (Health Genius 青年培育計劃), teachers from the Maker Education and Science Departments led nine students on a visit to the Youth College International(Tsing Yi) and the Sports Expo in Mong Kok.
Students gained a deeper understanding of the applications of innovative technology by touring the VTC Smart City Innovation Centre, the STEAM Education Centre, and the Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Centre. Additionally, the group visited the sports hall, where they had the opportunity to experience the emerging sport of Pickleball firsthand.
During the second part of the itinerary at the Sports Expo, students participated in various interactive sports simulations, including beach volleyball, table tennis, and rugby, as well as a 360-degree VR experience. The activity was rich in content and proved to be an eye-opening and highly rewarding experience for the students.
